Hewaheta Central College is a school situated in Thalatuoya, close to the Kandy city, Central Province, Sri Lanka. This prominent school offers secondary education for both boys and girls. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country. Hewaheta Central College was founded as a state institution under Dr. C. W. W. Kannangara, "free education for all" concept.
